Lizabeth Johnson, aged 65 of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. Surviving are her sister, Rosemary Johnson; special nephews and nieces, Herbert Johnson, Kateri Johnson, Codi Hills, Jack Gardner, Heather Johnson; great nieces and nephews, Naudia Johnson, Dathon and Caillou Singh, Alex Gardner, Joseph Hills, Gemsea Gardner, Rihanna Johnson; cousins, Diana Ledesma, Toni and Roger Wellman; good friend, Charlotte Parker; many brothers, sisters, extended family and friends. Lizabeth proudly served 18 years in the US Army National Guard, retiring as Sergeant. During her Military career she served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., with Fr. Steve Cron officiating. Her family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 6 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
