Remembering Lisa Kramer

Lisa Jayne Kramer, age 55, of Lamont, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her faith and family were very important to her and she enjoyed serving at her church. Even though she had many health concerns, she never complained and was a prayer warrior for others. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Don Kramer; children, Katlyn and Brent Tanis, Tracey and Matt Hulst, Donovan and Ashly Kramer, Molly and Jake Bartman, Dylan and Sunshine Kramer; grandchildren, Tyler, Amelia, Noah, Ian, Salena, Samuel, Iris, Nora, Ivy, Esther, Logan, and Leland; parents, John and Donna Grassmid, sister and brothers, Frankie and Steve Wunderink, Marcy and Dean Freyling, Mike and Denise Grassmid; mother-in-law, Marian Kramer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Susan and Rick Borst, Sandy and Rence Meredith; and her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Lamont Christian Reformed Church, 4745 Leonard St., Coopersville, with Pastor Terry Slachter officiating. The burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, March 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church. I will always remember Lisa's servant heart. She was a great "sister" to my sister and will be missed by so many. May God comfort you all.

— Jo Rowe

such a blessing to have known you Lisa! I will treasure the memories of Power Up classes and our trips to Mackinaw for Winsome Women. my prayers for your family who will miss you every day. your sister in the Lord, Carly

— Carlynn Anne Teremi

I only learned about Lisa's passing just a few hrs ago. I'm totally shocked Lisa has been cleaning out home for several years. What started out as a business deal quickly turned into a friendship and shortly thereafter she became like one of the family. Loved by both my wife Pat and I. We looked forward to catching up every Thursday morning. When I lost my Wife 13 months ago to cancer Lisa became even more supportive. She told me that she would be praying for me every day. I never once doubted that she would keep her word. She was truly one of God's angels placed here to be a blessing to whoever had the pleasure of knowing her. I feel like I have lost a daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with Don and the entire Kramer family. We couldn't possibly get through there very difficult times without God in our lives. God assures us in 1Thessalonians 4;13-18 that as Christians we will someday be in Heaven with Him. Praise the Lord.

— Gordon H Gillman

Oh Lisa… how you will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved you. On behalf of the PowerUP! Exercise group at GVSU, we will miss your wit and fun sense of humor, your genuine spirit of love and empathy for others, your courage and grit to face anything that PD had to throw your way, and that smile that you spread to others around you. We were blessed to have known you and so enjoyed having you as a member of our exercise gang. Your comradery and generous spirit will be so missed. My deepest sympathy to Don and the whole family. I know that Lisa often expressed how her heart was full of gratitude for her large close-knit family and all her grandchildren. May you celebrate her life even within the tears of your grieving. Truly she is among the angels in heaven watching over you all.

— Cathy Harro

My deepest sympathy to Don and family. I cherish the sweet times of fellowship and prayer with Lisa and the other prayer coordinators that we have had over the years. "Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His steadfast love." Ps. 33:18
