LISA LEE JACKSON  "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 Lisa Lee Jackson, age 60 years of Rockford went to her eternal home on Sunday,5 August 2012. Lisa was born in Bethesda,Maryland on 21 August 1951. She grew up in Silver Springs, Maryland and graduated from Stephen Knolls School in Montgomery County. She was devoted to her family and friends, especially her Friendship Club at Blythefield CRC, and her friends at Hope Network. Lisa was very active in the community and won many ribbons and medals over the years in Special Olympics. She retired from the Cedar Springs Hope Network in June 2010. Lisa was predeceased by her parents Charles Gerard Jackson and Hilda Fischer Jackson, and her sister Hilda Ann Jackson Russell, and brother Charles Gerard Jackson Jr. She deeply missed them and often reminisced about their lives together. Lisa's great grandparents Albert E Jackson and Isabella Kanouse Jackson were early pioneers of Ionia, Michigan. Lisa loved music and crafting. She will be remembered for her love of family, and friends, and her great bright eyed smile. Lisa was humble and compassionate and insisted that people be kind to one another and mind their manners. Her family would like to especially thank her Friendship teachers Angie, Anita, and Betty for bringing so much joy to her life. The family is also grateful for the volunteers and staff of Faith Hospice and Trillium Woods for their care and compassion. She is survived by two nieces; Deborah Russell (Marc) Jacobsson of Rockford, Michigan, and Mary Russell Caldwell (Jergen Luck)of Black River,New York, and a nephew David M. Russell of St Charles, Missouri. Lisa also has eight great nieces and nephews; Alex Jacobsson, Alisha Jacobsson, Rebekah Jacobsson, Elizabeth Jacobsson, Rachel Jacobsson, and Josiah Jacobsson all of Rockford, Michigan and Matthew Luck, and Kevin Luck of Black River, New York.
