Remembering Lindsey Rae Vaillancourt

Lindsey Rae Vaillancourt, age 30, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018.  Lindsey was a graduate of Jenison High School in 2006 and went on to graduate from Grand Valley State University in 2011 with an emphasis in linguistics in developing nations. Her love of language and travel took her to many places around the world. Lindsey also had a love for animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Vaillancourt; her grandparents, Henry Jansma and Karen Bennett, Raymond Vaillancourt; and her uncles, Brian Jansma, Raymond Vaillancourt.  She will be lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather, Gail and Jim Christie; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica Vaillancourt and Anthony Zoubek; grandmother, Pamela Vaillancourt; aunts and uncles, Laurie Miller, Ginny and Andrew Belew, Randal and Peggy Jansma, Valerie Evans, Chuck and Deb Vaillancourt; and many cousins. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW in the Memories Room.  In Lindsey’s memory, please share your favorite pictures and memories on her facebook page.
