DE VRIES - Mrs. Linda De Vries, aged 64 of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, September 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Laura Folkertsma; sister, Deanna Kapteyn; brother, Richard Folkertsma; brother-in-law, John De Vries. Linda was a beautiful and loving wife and mother who was devoted to her husband, Rev. Albert J. De Vries; and her children, Jim (Brenda) De Vries, Sarah (Ian) Van Leeuwen, Tony (Sherri) De Vries, Mina (Shayne) Postman; her 12 grandchildren, Casey, Kristina, Kara, Meeka, Justice, Asher, Judah, Makenzie, Alexis, Tyler, Anneke, Abigail; sister, Joyce Folkertsma, sister-in-law, Beverly Folkertsma; brothers-in-law, Klaas (Norma) Kapteyn, Eugene (Thea) De Vries; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 3089 84th St. SW. The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service at Heritage CRC. Interment Winchester Cemetery.
