Linda Lillian Everett, age 68, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Horn, father, Edward White, and brother, Ed White. She is survived by her husband, Jim Everett; son Jim and his wife Tricia Everett, son Jeff and his wife Christine Everett; grandchildren, James, Ashley, Joshua, Cory; great granddaughter, Savannah; younger sister, Lorie Thompson; adopted daughter, Carole Cruickshank; nieces, nephews, and countless others she considered her family. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1-3 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A memorial service, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating, will be held on Saturday at 3 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Samaritan’s Carriage.

Very sad to learn the news of cousin Linda. We always had fun times when we got together. Linda was a happy and loving person. Thoughts and prayers are with Jim and all the family. Linda loved her family very much. We will all miss her and her smile.

Linda, I will miss you so much. I don' think your friends know that you named my salon. Thats been 20 yrs ago. We've known each other a long time. And have made many memories. I've gotton to know most of your family. Even those precious grand babies. Little savanna is the newest addition. Ive seen many of her pictures. She loved all of them. They were her world.rest now my dear friend. You will Walk with god now. No more fighting the pain. One day we'll meet again.

We were saddened to hear that Linda had passed away. She was a longtime season ticket member and passionate supporter of Griffins Hockey who will be missed. Our thoughts are with Jim and the entire Everett family.
