Linda Kay Klutman

Linda Kay Klutman, age 70, of Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Abbott. Linda was a devoted, tender hearted mother and grandmother who treasured her family. She had the gift of compassion and servanthood that always put other’s needs before her own. Linda was a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids for over 40 years. Her faith in Jesus radiated out and was evident to all who knew her. Linda loved spending time outdoors, especially tending to her flowers that she grew so beautifully in her yard. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laurie Klutman, Aimee (Klutman) Hillman, Chad and Jennifer Klutman; her two precious grandchildren, Sophia, and Gabriel; her brother, Robert Abbott; her husband, Dennis Klutman; her lifelong friend, Marilyn Ashley; many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin St., Jenison with Pastor Adam Peck officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW and also from 10-11 am prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to Wildlife Rehab Center of Grand Rapids.
