Linda J. Van Asselt

Linda J. Van Asselt, age 69, of  Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 4, 2018.   She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Van Asselt.  Linda will be greatly missed by her father, Harold Van Asselt; brothers, Steven (Cathy) Van Asselt, David (Carol) Van Asselt; nephews, Lee (Angela) Van Asselt, Brad Van Asselt, Scott Van Asselt, Trevor Van Asselt, Bryce Van Asselt; and dear friend, Grace Oudbier.  Linda worked at Keebler for 33 years and Steak ‘N Shake for 5 years.  She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and was a member of Orchard Hill Church.  Relatives and friends may visit the family 2-5 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.  Private interment at Oakhill Cemetery.   For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Orchard Hill Building Fund. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to Faith Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Linda.
