GREEN - Mrs. Linda J. Green aged 65 of Kentwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Green, Jr., grandson, Billy Joe Green III and her sister Pattie Riddell. Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Billy Joe Green, Sr.; daughter, Bonnie (Bryan) BruinsSlot; grandchildren, Tabatha Green, Gavin BruinsSlot, Reed BruinsSlot, Marissa BruinsSlot; brothers Ronnie Bond, James (Sue) Bond; sister Wanda (Charles) Wooten. The things she enjoyed the most and will miss are camping, reading and going to garage sales with her best friend, Glendora Green. Linda was a member of Garden Park Church of God, 5615 Madison SE, for 35 years, services will be held at the church 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 10, 2011 with one hour visitation prior to the service.
