Linda Ann McHaney

Linda Ann McHaney, age 51, of Ionia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2017.  She was born on June 4, 1965 to Eva (De Leon) Jennett and Alejandro McHaney in Lubbock, Texas. In 1971 Linda and her family moved to Muskegon, Michigan where she attended Muskegon High School.  In 1979 Linda met Charles Richardson and to this union 7 children were born.  In 1990 Linda and Charles moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where she worked for Dean Transpiration and loved to play bingo.  Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Jennett; stepfather, Robert Jennett; brother, Alejandro (Alex); and son, Demetrius.  She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Charles L. Richardson II, Anthony J. Richardson, Nicholas D. (Nichelle) Richardson I, Krasondra R. Richardson, Jacob S. Richardson, and Zachariah A. (Elizabeth) Richardson; 15 grandchildren; brother, Adam McHaney; sisters, Lisa McHaney, Elana McHaney, Junita McHaney, Andrea McHaney, Pamela McHaney, Joy McHaney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.  Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association.
