Linda Abraham

On Sunday, March 30, 2014 Linda Abraham, age 63, our loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother succumbed to illness and returned to her heavenly Father. Linda is survived by her parents, Bill and Pat Root of Haines City, FL; siblings, Bill (Yvonne) Root of Shields, MI and Jodi Root of Folsom, CA. Linda is survived by her daughters, Jamie (Tony) Paro of Folsom, CA and Kelly (Darren) Geraghty of Comstock Park, MI, who gave her eight beautiful grandchildren who cherished their beloved "MeMe". Linda's grandchildren include Brent and Parker Zavada, Davis and Julianne Paro of Folsom, CA, and Katelyn, Emily, Alyssa and Delaney Geraghty of Comstock Park. Also surviving are Linda's niece Tania (Scott) Judd of Bloomfield Hills, MI and nephew, Aaron (Nicole) Root of San Diego, CA. Linda was a caring woman whose friendly personality allowed her to strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She was deeply devoted to her friends and enjoyed spending time with them, playing cards, cooking and socializing. MeMe's greatest joy was her grandchildren. Each grandchild has their own special memory with MeMe. Walks, trips to the zoo or circus, arts and crafts and hugs and kisses to name a few. Her willingness to spend quality moments with them was a gift. Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May the arms of our Lord Jesus surround her and bring her peace. A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont.
