Lillian Bergren

Lillian Bergren, age 94, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 26, 2019. Lillian was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had such a warm and welcoming heart for anyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She spent much of her time serving others in the community with a constant smile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; brother, Norman Donaldson. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Mark and Kim Bergren, David and Debbie Bergren, John Bergren, Beth Ann and Dan Updike; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11 am Saturday, January 4 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Cyd Holsclaw officiating.  Interment Fort Custer Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday, January 4 from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Please feel free to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service.
