Phillips, Lewis Wilson Lewis Wilson Phillips, aged 82 of Kentwood passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robert Pajersky. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beatrice; children, Pamela Carlson, Michael (Marcia) Phillips, Sue (Ed) Drozdowski; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Mary) Phillips; and sister, Joan Prys. Lewis was a veteran of the US Army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Memorial services will be held Monday at 4:00 pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park SW. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.

Grandpa, I never thought this day would come. You have done so much for me and my boys throughout our lives. You will always be on my mind and in my heart. I'm so sorry to hear that your father pass away. I grow up with Mike and thouht of hum as a father. I think of him sometimes when I drive by the old house on 52nd st. Once more I so sorry for your lose. I will pray with you all. Gerald Powney
