Lewis D. Baker

Lewis Dean Baker, age 74, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Stella Baker; brothers, Alvin Baker and Richard Baker.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Marcia; children, Sue and Jim Morsink, Mark and Jody Baker; grandchildren, Kyle and Deepali Morsink, Brad Morsink, Laura and Tyler DeVries, Miya Baker, Gavin Baker; brother, Albert and Dawn Baker, sister-in-law, JoAnn Baker; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vern and Loie DeVries; extended family, friends, and good friend Dwight Becker.  Lewis loved being with his family and he enjoyed auctions, garage sales, hymns, and fishing. He was always proud of his Iowa heritage. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Nate Meldrim officiating. Interment will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, May 5, from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Baruch Senior Ministries.
