Leroy Kosters

Leroy Kosters, age 83, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2016.  Leroy was born in South Dakota to Anthony and Dena Kosters and grew up in Lynden, WA. He was a loyal employee of Grand Rapids Gravel for 46 years and a co-founder of A.C.I. of Southwest Michigan. In his retirement, he was a Crossroad Bible Institute instructor for 10 years. He will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Shirley (Groothuis); children, Mark and Juanita Kosters, Randall Kosters, Lori and Bruce Helmholdt; grandchildren, Dan and Stacey Kosters, Kristen and Ron Delulius, Evan and Gabrielle Kosters, Heather and Chad Hyma, Courtney Helmholdt, Derek Helmholdt; 3 great granddaughters, Alexis, Scarlett, and Kolbie; sisters, Dorothy Crabtree, Phyllis Zylstra, MaeRose Tiesinga, Joyce Kok, Pat Vander Veen, Dolly Kosters. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 11:00 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Chapel, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, MI 49418.   Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, 10:00–10:45 am at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crossroad Bible Institute.
