Leona Van Heulen, age 82, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard in 1997. She is survived by her two sons and one daughter, Charles Van Heulen, Paul and Sandra Van Heulen of Clarkston, MI, Diana and Alexander Lippman; 5 wonderful grandchildren, Joshua and Michael Lippman, Joseph, Elizabeth and Nathan Van Heulen; sister, Lucille Boughton; brother-in-law, Norman and Barb Van Heulen, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE with Pastor Peter TeWinkle officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family 1-hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reformed Church of America Missionary Services or charity of choice.
