Lee Alan Avery, age 52 of Crystal, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2016. He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart for 31 years, Sheri Avery; son, Scott and Rachel Avery; daughter, Danielle and Jordan VanBeelen; grandchildren, Audrey, Kylee and Harper Avery, Ashton VanBeelen; parents, Sherman and Barbara Avery; brother, Larry and Starr Avery. The family will receive relatives and friends for a remembrance gathering 4pm-8pm on Friday February 26, 2016 at the Crystal Community Center, 217 Park St. with dinner served. A Service of Remembrance for Lee will be held 11am Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Crystal Congregational Church, 318 S. Main St., with Rev. Ried Martin presiding, with lunch to follow at the Community Center.

Once upon a time we were young. Young and carefree children who splashed in Crystal's waters. We skated at the rink. We cruised the lakes perimeter so many times. We laughed and laughed until water came out our nose. We built memories that even after 35 years, I will never forget. Ever. Lee was part of a great childhood memory and may we all remember him forever. My sincerest and deepest sympathy Lee family for this very tragic loss.

Lee crystal will not be the same without you there. but I am blessed to have known you.I want to say thank you to you and your wife for letting my mom and stepdad use your pole barn to have there reception.
