Lawson “Bob” Perks

Lawson “Bob” Robert Perks, age 89, of Hudsonville, entered into his Lord’s loving arms on Saturday, January 4, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Perks. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Betty Perks; children, Robert and Jodi Perks, David and Cindy Perks; grandchildren, Mary (Greg) DeWeerd, Nissa Smith, Cristin (Nathan) Riebel, Joshua (Amy) Perks, Alexis (Adam) Dunigan, Lesley (Kim) Girao, Paul (Ali) Perks, Aaron Perks; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly (Freal) Reyner; extended family and friends.  Bob was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and retired from Aetna Life and Casualty as a claims manager. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Chaplain Melody Johnson officiating. Inurnment will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1:30-2:20 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of one's choice.
