Lawrence Howard Urban, age 55, died of cancer on Wednesday, September 26th in Grand Rapids, MI, under the gentle care of Great Lakes Hospice. He leaves behind his loving partner, Jennifer, sisters Cindy and Anna Lynn, and his mother Beth. Born and raised in Southeast Texas, he moved to Michigan in his thirties where he worked and lived happily "out of the heat." Lawrence was known for telling jokes, loving movies, and chocolate milk. His remains will be divided between Texas and Michigan, and a private family ceremony to celebrate his life will be held in Dallas, TX.
