Lawrence Botruff

BOTRUFF- Lawrence Roy Botruff, age 79, passed peacefully in to the presence of his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and June (Wiersma) Botruff; his wife, Lois (Dowden) ; his sisters, Mary Lou Eldredge and Joyce Rohrer. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kim (Tim) Oberle, Jeff Botruff, Scott (Gina) Botruff and Michael (Deb) Botruff; grandchildren, Dan Mol, Doug (Jackie) Mol, Dave Mol, Rick (Kristine) Mol, Brad (Heather) Mol, Rachel Botruff, Christopher (Nicole) Botruff, Amanda Botruff, Timothy Botruff and Kaylynn (Nick) Harrison; great grandchildren, Kayla, Mackenzie, Haley, Noah, Connor, Matthew, Calista, Caden, Celia, Donovan and Emmett. Also surviving are his brother, Dan (Lexie) Botruff; brothers and sisters in law, Rev. Jack (Nancy) Dowden, Sue (Mel) Brekke and Rev. Tom (Connie)Rohrer. Larry retired from Marion Laboratories after 25 years of service. He served at Continental Baptist Missions and Lincoln Lake Youth Camp in his retirement years. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd, Belmont with Pastor Doug Crawford officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont and one hour prior to the service at church.
