Lavina Ypma

YPMA - Lavina Maxine Ypma fell asleep in the arms of Jesus November 9, 2010 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Jennie Pritchard; husband, Lawrence Ypma; son, David Ypma; and sister, Betty Julien. Surviving are her 5 children, James (Patsy) Ypma, Connie Ypma, Cheri (Jerry) Meyers, Tammie (John) Dykstra, Diane Ypma; special family friend, Qyla Williams; daughter-in-law, Sue Ypma; her brothers, Chuck Pritchard, Melvin (Pat) Pritchard, Ron (Sally) Pritchard; sister, Dorie (Clint) Dortch; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and beloved dog, Sasha. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 13 at Apostolic Faith Church, 1935 - 44th Street SE with Pastor Allen Julien officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to help the family offset expenses.
