Laura S. Meyer

Laura S. Meyer, age 59, of Zeeland passed away in her home on March 3, 2020. The daughter of James and Lu Meyer, she was born on their 10th wedding anniversary. She grew up in Hudsonville and worked for Chemitron (then turned into BSAF) right out of high school in their computer department. When they sold the company in 1996 she went to work for her family’s business as their office manager for twenty years. The last few years of her life she was the office manager for Post Hardwoods out of Hamilton. She enjoyed reading, good beer and whisky. She was preceded in death by her mother and brother James Meyer, Jr. She is survived by her daughter; Andrea (Chris) Zugel, Step-son; Evan (J) Gilliam and step-daughter; Elaine (Jordan) Arens, her father and siblings; Mike (Laura) Meyer, Barbara (Philip) Schneider and Rick (Jodine) Meyer. She had five grandchildren; Johnson, Nicolai, Kaya, Ethan and Jennavieve.  Many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered for her laugh and quick wit. The family of Laura will be having a private memorial in her honor.
