Larry Porter

Larry Porter, age 75 of Hudsonville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, October 5, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Sharleen Porter; his sister, Judy Kelley; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Rose Porter; several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army from 1963 to 1966. His life career was in the tool and die industry, retiring from Auto Die after many years of faithful service. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor David Rufner officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10 - 11 am prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to New Hope Lutheran Church.

Sorry to read of a neighborhood guy from my past going home to his God. Childhood memories are the best and he remains in mine. My sympathy to his family
