BOARTS - Larry Boarts, age 84, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 27, 2018. Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale and Ron Boarts. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sally Boarts; children, Bernie (Susan) Boarts, Carole (Jerry) Skar, Ed (Tina) Boarts, Keith (Melissa Chaffins) Boarts; step children, Cheryl (Scott Bumstead) Walker, Debby Bauer, 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Rose Boarts; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Eleanor Clark. Larry retired from G-Lock Heavy Movers. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 2 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Larry's family will greet relatives and friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral chapel.
