Kyle Robert Johnson

Kyle Robert Johnson, age 39, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 after complications of Covid. He graduated from Comstock Park High School. He enjoyed working for Chaco in the ReChaco Division. Kyle had a wonderful sense of humor and was creative, with an excellent eye for photography and art. He also enjoyed camping with his wife. He had a wonderful heart, willing to do anything for others.  

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 3 years, Caitlin; 4-legged kids, Gilbert, Tueger; parents: Daniel Johnson, Theresa Johnson, Christine Carnevale; siblings: Kayla (Tyler) Lapp, Lydia Johnson; nieces and nephews: Isabella, Kodiak, and Leeland Lapp, Averiee Rose Evelyn Johnson; grandparents, Julia Scheid; close friends, Joseph and Kalie Williamson and their children, Violet, Atticus and Lilah; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Donald Eugene Vann.

A memorial mass will be held 11 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at St. Jude Parish, 1120 4 Mile Road NE, Grand Rapids, with Fr. Ayub Francis Nasar presiding.  A luncheon will follow at the church.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 am on Wednesday at the church prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to help Michigan State Parks.
