I consider myself most fortunate to have known and befriended Kurt for over 2 decades. He was a wonderful person who selflessly shared his know-how for improving the lives of those around him. He left us too soon - but will be sorely missed and will live on in our hearts. Praying that fond memories of him will help the family cope.

Kurt unfailingly assisted me with a variety of GIS and GPS related projects throughout my career as a faculty member in the Natural Resources Management Program at GVSU. Kurt was always accessible, friendly, and helpful, and this extended to numerous students who sought out his assistance through many years. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Kurt for over 20 years. He was always willing to drop whatever he was doing to help, always good for a laugh, and loved to talk about his family. He will be missed. My heart goes out to Cam, Carly, and the rest of Kurt's family during this time.
