Kristina Riva

Kristina Sundholm Riva, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Kris was born to the late Robert and Evelyn Lucille Sundholm and grew up in Ludington, Michigan. Some of her enjoyments in life were reading, baking and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was happily married to her husband, Jim who she cherished spending time with over the past 48 years. She loved sharing her afternoons with Jim over a glass of wine. Kris will be greatly missed for her smile, the cookies she baked, and the love she had for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grand-daughter, Sarah Dunn; brother-in-law, John “Jack” Riva; sister-in-law, Marge TerMeer Lloyd; Son-in-law, Dan Jones and daughter-in-law, Betsi Riva. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim Riva; children: Tim Riva, Tammy Jones, Teri (Kelly) Miller, Tom (Cecy) Riva, Todd (Ginny) Riva, and Jenny (Steve) Longfellow; 17 favorite grandchildren: Sam (Asia), Alex (Evan), Michelle (Priscilla), George, Toni, Alex, Cassie, Alyssa, Tiffany, Riley, Claire, Ben, Ashlee (Aaron), Emily (Zach), Courtney, Sydney (Tim), Steven; and 10 great-grandchildren: Amira, Giovanni, Dante, Serenity, Hunter, Lilly, Daniel, Todd, Katelyn, Everly. She is also survived by her brothers: Robert (Stephanie) Sundholm and Peter (Christy) Sundholm and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11 am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3125 Clyde Park Ave, Wyoming, 49509 with Pastor Lee Welker officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service from 9:30-11 am. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
