Kitty Choryan

Anthonia “Kitty” Caroline Choryan, age 95, of Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2025.  She loved to dance and joined the Senior Steppers in her retirement, dancing at festivals and various nursing homes in the area.  She was a devoted longtime member of St. John Vianney with a very strong faith and a well worn Bible from all her study and reading.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially traveling to Gulf Shores with her husband, Ed, and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward; daughter, Barbara Choryan; son-in-law, Dennis Stolcenberg; grandson, Justin Choryan; 3 sisters: Frannie Long, Josephine Dunn, Alice Bederka.  Kitty will be lovingly remembered by her children: Carol and Jeff Donovan, Chris and Kathy Choryan, Rick and Barb Choryan, Mary Stolcenberg, Joe and Vera Choryan, Terri Herring, Jerry and Colette Choryan, Bridget and Steve Jenkinson; grandchildren: Erin, Todd, Samantha, Kristin, Jessie, David, Corey, Danny, Danielle, Leighanne, Adam, Mark, Jim, Andrew, Brittany, Nick, Jamie, Jennifer, Jessica, Jayden; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Julie LaPrad; many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025  at  St. John Vianney, 4101 Clyde Park SW Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 pm at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Visitation will also be held from 9-10 a.m. at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant House.
