I can think of no words to offer that will lift you up at this time. I can only place myself before God's altar and ask that your hearts be filled with so much love for Cody and for God that light and peace will fully engulf you with both Cody's love and God's. My condolences.

Julie - Wish there was some magic word, but that won't happen. What a sadness! Holding you and your family in prayer. May you find consolation in drawing near to the Lord, who saw His dearly loved Son die on a cross for the sins of people who were not really interested. God bless you.

Dan and Julie,
I was Cody's English teacher in 9th grade. I remember that he always had a smile when he came in my room. Although I haven't seen him since he was a student of mine, I will always remember him. I am so sorry you are in so much pain. My prayer is that God will comfort you and give you His much needed strength.

Cody was a friend, a son, a goofball, an all around good guy. He picked on his brothers, as all good brothers do. He left messes around the house, as all teenagers do. He was always excited to see us, hugs every time. We will remember the good times. He is gone, but will never be forgotten. Our fr-amily will continue to celebrate Cody! Love, peace, and strength.

Moment by moment, we build a robot. He stood by our side as he helped us build our robot. Talking and sharing moment by moment. We gained the Rookie Inspiration award. We competed against his team. We competed on the same alliance. Our relationships were build moment by moment by a young man that enjoyed robotics and helped not only his team, but our team as well. We cherish each moment by moment we remember of Cody's desire to help. We pray each moment you remember brings peace to your hearts knowing how caring and giving Cody was to many and especially remembered by our team Robotics Team 5316.
