Kevin Anthony Leitner, age 63, of Allendale, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 29, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Verna Leitner; children, Melissa and Mike Veldkamp, Derek and Ana Leitner, Ashley and Drew VanRhee; grandchildren, Connor, Skylar, Kinsley, Adri, Maddie, Kelsey, Ally, Mila; parents, Ken and Ginny Leitner; siblings, Lori and Rick Tischendorf, Connie and Rick Eckes, Jeff and Robyn Leitner, Carla and Keith Wojahn, Dan and Linda Leitner; his first wife, Kris Leitner; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Leitner; maternal and paternal grandparents; niece, Candace; great-niece, Alia; and great-great niece, Aria. Kevin loved his family and spending his time with them. He loved working at Leprino Foods for the last 29 years, loved his dogs, and loved spending time in the garden, fishing, and golfing. Kevin was a great friend and mentor, loved to help anyone in need, and will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at 11 am, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Rev. Alan Raines officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, April 1, from 5-8 pm, at the funeral home, as well as Tuesday one hour prior to the start of the service.
