Remembering Kevin Jolliffe

Kevin M. Jolliffe, age 68, of Jenison, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, September 18, 2026. Kevin was kind and fun loving and had a zest for life. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and competed in several iron man competitions. He worked as a delivery driver for Neal’s Auto Parts, establishing many friendships throughout his time there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Esther Jolliffe. He is survived his daughters, Tasha (Jon) Eyk, Michelle (Robert) Doss; his grandchildren, Violet, Frankie, Keilani, Anthony, Shaun, Braydon; his siblings, Susan (David) Maas and their children, Ryan, Kyle, and B.J., Rhonda (Amy) Jolliffe, Laura (Al) Elhart and their children, Zach (Liz) Butler; and his special friend, Julia Morse.

A celebration of Kevin’s life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Dear Sue, Rhonda, Laura and family, I was so very sorry to learn of the illness and loss of your brother, Kevin! He overcame some tough obstacles in his life, that I admired him for. After that, one day out riding Kent Trails I heard a familiar voice behind me call out "Hey, Diane!"- it was Kevin, and we enjoyed a fast ride out to Byron Center together, catching up on life as we rode. I am praying that each of you will find comfort in your memories of him, and that Kevin will rest in peace.

I’ll never forget walking from transition down to the lake to the start of one of the Michigan series races with Kevin. I hated the swim. But he always gave me encouragement. He had me laughing before the race and a had a hug at the finish when I saw him. I’m so incredibly sad yet grateful that I have so many fun memories and that I know I’ll see him again someday. I’m so sorry for your loss. He was truly a wonderful person with such a kind heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of him during the triathlon days. I remember AD saying I going for a 75 mile bike ride with Kevin like it was nothing. Kevin was a special man and he will be missed.
