Kevin Fredrick Sanders, age 60, of Grand Rapids, was called home by his Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was a faithful Michigan Wolverine fan, along with the Red Wings, Griffins, Tigers, and Whitecaps. He was a loving uncle, who was always kind, easygoing, and always had a smile on his face. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Olamae (Gottschalk) Sanders. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Carl Jr. and Laura Sanders; nephew, Charles John (Rachel) Sanders; niece, Samantha Lynn Sanders; and many dear friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI, with Fr. Chris Rouech officiating. Burial will be held at Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, May 2, from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am on Friday, at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Michigan Special Olympics.
