Kenny Smith

Kenneth “Uncle Kenny” Vincent Smith, aged 93 of Marion, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Julia Smith; three brothers; one sister; and niece, Laura (surviving husband, David). He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Roxanne, Donna (Bennett), Alfred Jr., Lonnie (Kathi), Therese, Mary, Jeff (Lynne), and Lisa (Edwin); and many great nieces and nephews. Ken proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired after many years from General Motors. He loved golfing, watching sports, and taking small trips with his nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Vianney, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. at the church.
