Kenneth Warners

Kenneth Dale Warners, age 77, of Jenison, passed away on May 20, 2025. He was born on October 16, 1947, in Grand Rapids, to Henry and Henrietta Warners. Ken was also a great friend, brother, uncle, grandfather, and father to an abundance of biological, adopted, and foster children and grandchildren. He was also a loyal friend, a great plumber, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a leader in his church. Ken will be remembered for his wisdom, warmth, gentleness, and kindness to everyone he met.

Ken is survived by his children and grandchildren, Tricia and Jonathan Thomas (Caleb, Elaina, Jack, Jed), Michelle Beals (Krysten, A'zahyia), Jeff Warners (Taylor, Gracen), Josh Warners, Rachel and Justin Tamminga (Tristan), Bill and Araceli Warners, Abby Warners, Anocia Augustin (Elijah, Shasta); and foster sons, Carlos and Cristopher Marino; and many other foster children. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron Warners, Jim and Bridget Warners, and Ruth Warners. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol; his infant son, Eric; and his parents, Henry and Henrietta Warners.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday, May 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor Michael Ten Haken officiating. An additional time of visitation will be held from 10-10:45 am at the church prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bethany Christian Services.
