Kenneth VanEss

Kenneth L VanEss, age 56, of Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth J VanEss. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Ruth VanEss; brother, David VanEss; stepson Justin Bradford; nephews and nieces, Kirk VanEss, Lisa VanEss and Tyler VanEss; a longtime friend Randy Chase; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from Ottawa Hills High School. Ken with his brother Dave, and nephew Tyler spent a lot of time together, listening to music and just talking about the small things of life. He was a big fan of the Detroit Lions and the U of M football teams. A private service and burial was held at Rest Lawn Memorial Park.

Ken was a good friend and fricking hilarious! So many great times we had. Nothing really stopped him. I was so proud of him. I can hear him to this day. That Petey though lol. That bird hated me. I hope someone took over his care. You and your husband raised a good son Ruth. One of the best. You also were so good to him.

Ken was one of my heroes in how to persevere in the face of disabilities. He was always smiling and eager to be part of life, wherever that took him. Heaven indeed has another angel who is free from restrictions. Shine on, Ken!!

I am saddened to hear this news. Ken was a very dear friend of many years. I will always Cherish all the memories we had together and all the good times. He was such a wonderful man. He went through a lot, yet he never gave up. My sincere condolences to is mom Ruth, his brother David and his stepson Justin. May he now RIP. God has another beautiful Angel to watch over his loved ones.
