SCHUITEMA (Corrected Obituary) - Kenneth Jay Schuitema, aged 82, passed away at the Laurels of Sandy Creek on Friday October 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Josephine Schuitema; his wife, Eloise Kortering Schuitema; daughter, Nancy Schuitema; sister Dorothy (Dennis) Cotey and sister-in-laws Erma Kortering and Fern Kortering and Brother-in-Law Jess Kortering. Surviving are his daughters, Dianne Jolly and Brenda Schuitema (Ron Stahlschmidt), son Steven (Lisa) Schuitema; grandchildren, Amber (Jarvis) Nash, Bret Humphrey, Josh (Mary) Schuitema, Brad Schuitema (Elisa Simon), great grandchildren, Darin Gordon, Drayden Mc Daniel, and Jarvis Jr. Nash, LaTonya Nash and Phoenix Schuitema; brother, Robert (Patti) Schuitema; sister, Mary Bowers, Brother-in-laws, Erv (Esther) Kortering and Rev. Jason (Jean) Kortering and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
