Kenneth Ruiter

RUITER - Kenneth Jacob Albert Ruiter, aged 25 from Atlantic Beach, Florida, formerly of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on April 24, 2011. Kenneth is survived by his mother and stepfather, Connie and Ed Peterman of Wyoming; his father and stepmother, William David Jr. and Teresa King of Tennessee; his siblings, Kimberly Peterman of Wyoming, Michael and Ashley King of Atlantic Beach; grandparents, Betty Ruiter of Michigan, William David and Marsha King, Pat and John Warren of Florida, Jean Peterman of Michigan; great grandmother, Virginia Penley of Louisiana. Ken was special to many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenneth graduated from Godwin Heights High School in 2004 and was currently employed by Earl Industries in Mayport, Florida. The world lost a wonderful soul. Kenneth loved riding his motorcycle and his family of "Brothers" he rode with. A passion for life, he lived it to the fullest. A friend wrote, "ride that motorcycle down the golden roads of heaven" and he is. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 6 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
