Ken Rotman, age 95, of Allendale, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Allen and Jeanne Rotman, Roger and Dawn Rotman, Kristie and Jay Groenink; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his stepchildren, Mary and Rich Beuker, Ruth and Wiebe Van Zwol, John and Diane Kuit, Marcia Emmert; 10 step-grandchildren and 23 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Arnold and Alida Rotman, Gordon Rotman; several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Geraldine; his wife of 24 years, Eleanor; his daughter, Nancy Rotman; his stepchildren, Ellen and Steve Waters, and Kevin Emmert. Ken retired from Doehler - Jarvis after 30 years of faithful employment. He was a World War II veteran, proudly serving his country in the US Navy as a Seabee. Ken gave of his time and talents at First Allendale CRC for many years, serving in council and on the Christian School Society. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at First Allendale CRC, 5734 Country View Dr, Allendale, with Rev. Ken Kruithoff officiating. The service will be available via livestream at the First Allendale CRC Facebook page and also will be available later on the funeral home website. Burial Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a Christian School of one’s choice.
