Kenneth Quist

Kenneth Quist, age 82, of Sparta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Ken will be remembered for his quiet strength, humor, and his servant’s heart. He faithfully served his church in many ways, especially serving coffee. Over the years, he also enjoyed bowling. He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Quist; his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of  61 years, Wanda; his sons, Kevin Quist, Todd (Lorraine) Quist; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 at  Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 660 S. State St., Sparta, with Rev. C.J. den Dulk and Rev. Shaun M. Furniss officiating.   Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at MKD Funeral Chapel (Belmont), 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Trinity CRC Missions Fund.
