Kenneth Owen Ammeraal, age 72, of Coopersville (formerly of Grandville), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 9, 2020.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ruth Ammeraal; and sister, Marcia Faye Novetske. He will be lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren, Kimberly and Robert Holdren (Robert, Gerald), Michael and Kristen Ammeraal (Alicia, Ashley, Alexis, Jacob); 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Isla and John Harris, Donna Van Dyken-Shealey and husband Patrick; brother, David Joe and Allison Ammeraal; many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Jeff Gunderman officiating. Interment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
