Kenneth Lee Riddering

​Kenneth L. Riddering, age 90, of Grand Rapids, was peacefully united with his Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Ken was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a brick mason, building many homes in the area. Ken was a devoted husband, loving father and grandpa. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Davenport; brother Warren Riddering; sisters, Maxine Wells, and MaryAnn Ensing; and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Sarah Riddering; children, Beverly and John Kuyers, Randy Davenport, Bonnie and Tom Bruins, Ken and Gail Riddering, Kirk and Joy Riddering; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosemary Chute, Bonnie Sadler and Dale Kruithoff, Lynne and Jim Broene, Willard Ensing; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 11 am at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Dale Fopma officiating. Burial at River Bend Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville.
