Kenneth Lee Bramell, aged 77, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 surrounded by his family. Ken battled cancer with the same strength and grace he lived his life.

Mr. Bramell was a loving husband to his late wife, Cheryl. An amazing family man who loved spending time outdoors tending to his garden. His four children survive him: Kimberly, Brenda, Michelle, and Youssouf; eighteen grandchildren, Brandy, Alan, Alex, Cortney, Ashley, Justin, Lauren, Kayla, Mackenzie, Jeromy, Meghan, Tony, Anna, Gregory, Gabby, Olivia, Thalina, and Mila; eight great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Mia, Charlotte, Emma, Austin, Kolton, Nova, Vayda; his brothers, Lee, Dougie, and Larry; three sons-in-law, Bill, Jay, and Gabriel; a brother-in-law, Fred; three sisters-in-law, Beverly, Trudy, and Linda.

Kenneth is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served as a heavy machinery operator; he often would “sneak off base,” giving treats to orphaned children. Ken left the military as a sergeant and began a long career as a gemologist and owner of Zylstra Jewelry.

The family will hold a private ceremony.
