Remembering Kenneth Earl Thomas
Ken, age 86, of Kentwood, MI passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He was a beloved soul who brought joy and adventure to those around him. He cherished snowmobiling during the winter months, finding thrill and serenity on the snowy trails. An avid car enthusiast, he spent countless hours working on vehicles at the Martin Speedway, demonstrating his skill and dedication. He loved nature, which included fishing and hunting. He was a dedicated member of the Walker Gun Club and the Caledonia Gun Club. There, he enjoyed shooting skeet, trap and sporting clays, and cherished the time he spent hanging out with his close friends. In retirement, he and his wife, Linda took trips out West where they visited Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore and Las Vegas. Ken's life was celebrated through these treasured moments.
He will be missed by Linda, his wife of 60 years, son, Michael; daughter, Michelle; son-in-law, Paul; grandson, Jacob; granddaughter, Alexandra; extended family and friends.
He will be laid to rest in the family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery, a place where family and friends can remember his loving presence. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered for his love for life and the memories he created.
