Kenneth Dusen

VAN DUSEN - Mr. Kenneth L. Van Dusen, aged 62 of Wyoming, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. In life, Ken enjoyed playing golf and bowling in his free time. He also enjoyed getting together with his family and loved ones to engage in card games on a regular basis. Those who knew Ken would remember him as a flamboyant winner and a not-so-gracious loser. He was an avid sports fan and rooted for anything Detroit. He could be found most any time sporting the logo of his favorite team. You never had to watch the weather if you were going to be around him, because he knew the Michigan weather better than anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Alma; sisters, Arlene and Shirley Van Dusen. He is survived by his sisters, Joyce (Bob) Van Heyningen, Nancy (Mike) Kozak; nieces and nephews, Jim Van Heyningen, Tammy (Jaime) Dant, Sean (Malissa) Webber, Christopher Kozak, Jennifer (Spencer) Gould; great nephews and nieces, Jessica, Nathan, Ryan, Brenyn, Alayna, Isaac, Liam. To those not mentioned above that shared a kinship with Ken, his family would like to thank you and say that we are sorry for your loss as well. There will be no service held for Ken. Per his wishes, he is to be cremated and laid to rest at the Bowne Mennonite Cemetery with his parents and sisters Shirley and Arlene.
