Kenneth   DeBois

DeBois, Kenneth Kenneth DeBois, age 86, of Croton, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 and now joins his wife, Mary who preceded him in 2003.  Ken was a man of few words who displayed strength and wisdom through his actions.  With his strong work ethic he retired from GM Fischer Body after many years of faithful service.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Donald and grandson, Jeffrey Scott Larsen.  He will be lovingly remembered   by his children and grandchildren, Fred and Shirley DeBois (Jay and Dawn, their children, Hannah, Tyler; Kellie, her children, Brady, Brooke), Kathy and Bob Larsen, (Jennifer and Roger, their children, Alexandria, Caleb; Jeremy and Kelly, their children, Jeffrey, Tyler; Mindy and her fiancé, Todd, her son, Benjamin); and extended loving family members.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 4 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive with Rev. Jim Ikerd officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 3-4 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans or Spectrum Health Hospice.  The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Garden Assisted Living for the loving care given to their father and grandfather during his stay there.
