Kenneth R. Besteman, age 83, of Grandville, November 29, 1940 - October 29, 2024.

Though Ken’s earthly life has ended, he has entered the glorious presence of Jesus to forever be with Him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Marjorie Besteman; and brothers, Marvin Besteman, Jr., and Ron Besteman. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Mary; his children, Lynne and David Hamilton, Gregory K. and Shelli Besteman, Lori and Mark Perkin, Lisa and Brian Yonker; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, David and Jannessah Hamilton (Ruth, Rory), Annie and Chad Musgraves (Scout, Millie Kate, Bowen), Kate and Joshua Greene, Daniel Hamilton, Casandra and Joseph Dearduff, Benjamin, Joshua, and Noah Besteman, Ellyse, Abigail and Matthew Perkin, Luke, Lauryn, Jenna Yonker; sisters–in-law, Ruth Besteman, Mary Lou Besteman; brother-in-law, Gord Zeeff; and many nieces and nephews. 

Ken fiercely loved his family and gave generously of his time and resources to many ministries, including the Navigators. He was an avid hunter, respected businessman, and faithful servant. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Grace Bible Church, 3715 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, 49418. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery on Monday. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday, November 1 from 5 to 8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
