Kelly Foster

Kelly Jo Foster, age 61, of Byron Center, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Tracy (Mike) Steffes, Nick Karas, Jerry Foster Jr.; nieces and nephews, Kelli (Mark) Reinhart, Jessica (Chansamone) Siharath, Tim (Bailey) Steffes; many great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts and uncle, Raleigh Jacques, Ike Rasmussen, and Toni Brace. Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Christa Karas; step-father, Charles Karas; and father, Jerry Foster. Kelly loved to entertain guests and to garden. She was a loyal sister, aunt, and friend who was a faithful person to all she loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 16, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, with Fr. Stephen Durkee presiding. The burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. In memory of Kelly, memorial contributions can be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
