Kelly Church

Kelly Lee Church 10/5/1974 - 3/15/2021 Kelly Lee Church of Wyoming tragically and unexpectedly passed away from COVID at Spectrum Health with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by her devoted daughter, Jessica Allmon, and her precious grandchildren, Charli May and Dontay Jr., as well as her sisters Kathy (Brian) Vogel, Kim O’Connor, Karyn (Geno) Martineau. Her nieces and nephews, Dylan, Kennedy, Madison, Marissa, and Max will miss her greatly, especially her love of baking treats. Family could always count on Kelly to make multiple desserts for family celebrations. Not only did Kelly enjoy baking, she loved traveling to Chicago with her sisters to watch the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Both Chicago Dave and Vanessa (Norma) partook in the many shenanigans with the Church sisters at the Cubby Bear. Kelly’s favorite holiday was 4th of July and the Church family celebrations of hosting many pool parties and cookouts. 

Kelly was preceded in death by her father Robert D Church and her mother Diane F Church. They had served as her support system throughout her struggles. The overwhelming grief of losing them left her to continue struggling and hardships resulted. Although the struggles with may have stolen pieces of her identity, she will always be remembered for her giving and kind spirit. 

Kelly’s family is so thankful for the dedicated doctors and nurses who tried multiple measures to save her life. The kindness and care they showed her family helped ease their pain. Although the experience was also a reminder of the difficult and often devastating work doctors and nurses have been consumed by since the start of the pandemic. 

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
