Remembering Keith Small

Keith Donald Small, age 59, of Kentwood, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Small; and grandmother, Anna Neuman. He will be lovingly remembered by his husband, Andy Heydenburg; mother, Mable Small; brother, Scott and Karen Small; Aunt Sis, Theona; other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; friends, Todd Stearns, and Faith Pigeon; and extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Two Churches, 4252 Breton Road, Kentwood. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 47 Jefferson Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.

Keith's and I we're introduced in the early 80s. And we became fast Friends. I would describe him as a loving Christian man. We became each other's best friends for almost 40 years. I miss him all so much already and will continue to. He taught me so much about our God's holy word. And I will miss our theological discussions. I was truly blessed by knowing him. Love you my friend ❤️❤️.

I first met Keith at a local religious event when he was a student at a religious college in the Ann Arbor Area, more than 38 years ago. We became friends and maintained our friendship over the miles these past many years. Keith was a devout Christian man who has now gone home to his Lord. May The Lord comfort and sustain his husband Andy and all who grieve the loss of our brother Keith.
