Keith Lamar Williams fell asleep in death on February 12, 2022 at the age of 83, and awaits the return of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born March 15, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana, the only child of Kenneth Lamar and Treva Mae (Huling) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Kenneth Heaton, and daughter, Kathleen Webster. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores; two sons, Kevin Lamar Williams and Brian Keith (Beth) Williams; two granddaughters, Kristen Leigh Williams and Abigail Claire Williams; a step-grandson, Zac Fellows; and a great-granddaughter, Lily Mae DeVries; sisters-in-law, Deb Heaton and Dawn (Richard) Thornsill; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Business Administration from Grand Valley State College and was a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer for over 40 years. Partly as a result of his employment and involvement in the International Electrotechnical Commission, he was able to travel to all 50 states and 13 foreign countries. Music was a large part of his and Dolores’s life and he enjoyed playing timpani in the West Michigan New Horizons Symphonic Band. He was active in the Harmonica Club of Grand Rapids, as well as a lifelong bowler. His faith was very important to him. He served as an Elder in the Pennellwood Church of God and taught Sunday school there for many years. His great ambition was that all members of his family know Jesus Christ as Savior, and by the Grace of God he was able to see that happen. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, February 17 at Pennellwood Church of God, 3459 Reiser Ave. SW, Wyoming with Rev. Jeffery Ransom officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Pennellwood Church of God.
